How to install IPTV on a Firestick in the UK (2026 guide)
Setting up IPTV on a Firestick is straightforward once you know the right steps. This guide covers every Firestick model — the HD, the 4K, and the 4K Max — and uses Tivimate as the primary app, which is our recommended choice for its EPG quality and stream stability.
What you will need
Your Firestick, a working Wi-Fi connection (or a wired Ethernet adapter for the best results), your IPTV credentials from IPTV UK Pro — username, password and server URL — and about ten minutes.
Step 1: Enable apps from unknown sources
Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer options. Enable "Install unknown apps" for the Downloader app. This is needed to install Tivimate, which comes from outside the Amazon App Store.
Step 2: Install Downloader
Search for "Downloader" in the Amazon App Store. Install it. Then open Downloader and enter the URL for the Tivimate APK — we send this with your activation details via WhatsApp.
Step 3: Install and launch Tivimate
Once the APK downloads, tap Install. After installation, open Tivimate. On the first launch it will prompt you to add a playlist.
Step 4: Enter your credentials
Choose "Add playlist" and select "Xtream Codes API" if you have a username and password, or "M3U Playlist URL" if you have a URL. Enter the details sent to you via WhatsApp exactly as provided. The app will load your channels — with 24,000+ channels this may take a minute or two on the first load.
Step 5: Navigate the EPG
Once loaded, the EPG (electronic programme guide) pulls in within a few minutes. Navigate by category — Sports, News, Movies — using the remote. Long-press on any channel to set a favourite or record a programme.
Common issues
If streams buffer intermittently, check your Wi-Fi signal first. Moving the Firestick to a wired connection using an Ethernet adapter nearly always resolves buffering. If specific channels fail to load, message our WhatsApp support — we can refresh individual streams within minutes.
